Vocaloid VocaListener synthetic singing voice

Just ran across this and wanted to share. This site is in Japanese. Scroll down to play the embedded movies. The first two are pop songs. After that are some Japanese enka. The voices are computer generated. They are done so well you wouldn't know if someone didn't tell you.

My understanding is that this still takes a fair amount of hinting. Still amazing.
