Mac & Epson PX800FW

Have any of you got an Epson PX800FW all-in-one?
Can you tell me if you can scan directly from Photoshop, or do you have to use Epson's own standalone application?
Likewise, can you print directly onto a CD/DVD from within applications like InDesign/Illustrator/Quark, or do you have to use Epson's standalone application?
