Personally I'm not moved yet with any of its desirability factor, which is probably good, which means I can save money by not getting myself the new iPhone 3G and sticking to my current iPhone 3G!

I found these component images a few weeks ago, and I am still not sure what to make of them.
Looking at the bezel part, if this is part of the new iPhone, it appears there are a number of changes.
1) The entire device may be a little shorter - but with the same sized screen.
2) A circular hole in the bezel near the bottom right of the device. Which would make sense as a camera shutter button.
3) An all-black bezel which does not surround the entire screen. This implies a seam, which is very odd for an Apple design.
