"Settings" icon absent

I just activated my 3GS and restored a backup from my 2G phone. The phone was jailbroken on 2.2.1. Now after the restore, the 3GS does not have a settings icon. I can find it in Spotlight and access it that way, but I have no idea how to restore this icon. Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution, short of wiping the phone? Will my backup be no good?



edit... never mind. I reset it to defaults. Forgive my freaking out and please close... lol.
