MJ's City!
With block upon block of crumbling houses, abandoned stores, and churches and theaters left to rot like ancient ruins, this old industrial city can easily seem like a ghost town of vanquished dreams. Steel City, so nicknamed in its heyday when all the smokestacks were pumping, lost its big shoulders a long time ago, replaced with a slump from the weight of rampant poverty and a forlorn economic scene.
Now that Jackson is dead the city will be bulldozed to the ground. Amen.
Now that Jackson is dead the city will be bulldozed to the ground. Amen.

I assume that you are talking about Garry Indiana, as you hit every stereotypw about that area...well, it is a mess, but there are plans to really make it nice for the 2016 Olympics if Chicago wins them, Garry is really close to Chicago anf is a hub for private planes in that area, so change may well be coming.
