Looks like the situation can resolve itself with a purchase of some stock.

Won't be long until Nokia is worthless.

In any case, Nokia is clearly ignoring Apple's past behavior of taking stupid patents and throwing them to the curb.

I like my Newton with phone capabilities i.e. iPhone.

So Nokia patented some of the functions of the Newton 10 years after the fact.

It seems they also singlehandedly invented laptops and MP3 players.

The first phone with a camera was made by Sharp (Who also made Newton's)

Isn't there a small matter of "prior art"?

Perhaps it's time to take a look at Nokia's pricing strategies, anyone ever heard of "product dumping"?

Could it be that Nokia phone's are cheaper in the US than other places?

I'm sure this is something the ITC looks after.

This is that happens when Nokia can't make a iPhone look alike that they can offer to the customers for free, shit hit's the fan. Nokia will die if they can't come up with something to compete with the iPhone, Palm Pre, Android, and the New Crackberries and oh yes it has to be free.

The bigger these Companies are the harder they fall. Apple has turn the cell phone market upside down, People ether want a iPhone or they want another Smartphone that looks like it and Nokia is not happy.

I'm sorry but there is to be no more quoting of comments as this is not allowed under Nokia's patent, specifically "Utilizing the Contents of a Message," granted in 2001, you are also not allowed to read them as that is also "utilising" them.

I think the whole point of these suits is to get away from the "standards based" patents of the original suit and avoid the F/RAND issues.

What a load of crap Nokia, Let your mobile devices speak for you ... not your lawyers.

You used to make great mobile phones which everyone wanted. Now look at how low you have to go to try and make an extra buck. Stop spending money on this type of bollocks and start spending money on better designers and engineers!

    Two words: Cheap and free.

It's hard to fathom how every single one of Apple's products, which aren't (literally) technically different than counterpart products could infringe on Nokia patents. This is just a game of chest puffing. I can't see Apple backing down, though.

Actually with Nokias part ownership of NSN, I think they own the field as well.

That's three words, and which company are you talking about? Both Apple and Nokia have models of phones 100% subsidised by operators.
