We can't possibly know. For the last five years, it had been in September. Since they've abandoned that schedule, we REALLY can't possibly know.

They haven't really, an update came last October, albeit very minor.

I expect they will move it to the A5 processor this year around September.

The 2010 iPod touch was the 4th Generation, the 2011 iPod touch is still the 4th generation. It wasn't really an update. The only thing changed was they added a white colour option and minor improvement to the ambient light sensor.

They also dropped the 3rd gen low-end model from the line and replaced it with a 4th gen of the same size.

June? Yeah, Mountain Lion. Probably not a hardware product.

The iPod Touch (stylized and marketed as lowercase iPod touch; also colloquially referred to as the iTouch,[7] by analogy to the iPhone) is a portable media player, personal digital assistant, handheld game console, and Wi-Fi mobile device designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The iPod Touch adds the multi-touch graphical user interface to the iPod line. It is the first iPod with wireless access to the iTunes Store, and also has access to Apple's App Store, enabling content to be purchased and downloaded directly on the device. As of March 2011, Apple has sold over 60 million iPod Touch units.

For iPod Touch units bought before October 12, 2011, users must own a Mac or PC computer to be able to use the iPod. Users then must install iTunes and connect the iPod through a USB port. The iPod will then be set up in iTunes. New iPods bought after October 12, 2011 have iOS 5.0 preloaded, and allow activation wirelessly, without the need of a PC or Mac.[16]

Earlier iPod Touch units must be plugged into a computer to be synced. This will charge the iPod Touch and sync the music library, videos, pictures and back up data.

MacRumors has received information indicating that the next iPod touch revision will be a very minor change, with the primary addition being the introduction of a new white model. Only minor changes are expected for the existing hardware, with the addition of an oleophobic coating for the display and a revised ambient light sensor seemingly being the main differences. Otherwise, we expect the models to be nearly identical to the current fourth-generation iPod touch model.
