My company received our 41 iPhones yesterday. woohoo
I'm not a programmer so I am no familiar with this. Once OSX is running on Intel, will it be easier for software developers to port Windows apps over to OSX? Just disregard this if it has already been posted....
just a typo.... it's H.264 not H.274
It would be nice if apple made iChatAV a true H.323 client. That way you connect to Polycom and Tandberg Videoconferencing gear. Both of these videoconferencing manufactures support h.263 and h.264 so apple has this part right... I just don't understand why they wouldn't add a "Connect To..." menu that lets you type in the IP address of another VC codec. Also H.239 support would be nice as well. For those that don't know.... H.239 is the standard that...
Is there anything special about the D-Link Bluetooth USB adapter at the apple store? Has anyone tried any other brands? In other words would there be any reason not to buy one off eBay like the ones below: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW $5.64 or http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW $9.99 Thanks!
Wow that's cool... I only have a 800 G4 so I couldn't test it out... I just went by what Apple posted here . thanks
Ok, so 1080p content encoded with H.264 needs a dual 2Ghz G5 to playback.... Anyone want to speculate as to what kind of PC horsepower will be needed once QT7 comes out for Windows? WMV HD (1080p) needs a 3Ghz P4 w/ 512MB RAM, & 128MB Video Card. I wonder if Apple will be able to meet those system specs with h.264, or is it possible that H.264 will be more processor intensive? What do you guys think?
Macaddict16, I don't suppose there is a listing in the computer for the iSight? Like I said a few posts up, I’ve got a BB gift card, a USB webcam, and a 2 year old nephew I would love to 'iChatAV' with....
Any new info on BestBuy selling Apple stuff? Normally I would just go to my local Apple Store to buy an iSight, but I am holding out because I have $100 BestBuy giftcard (from my birthday last weekend), and if BestBuy is going to sell Apple's consumer stuff, then there is a good chance they will sell the iSight. I'd love to pick one up for $50. later, -blizaine
lundy, check out the link below. It shows a way of adjusting Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Color Temp, and focus of an iSight. I'm not sure if it only keeps the setting with ispq or if it is universal, but it may help troubleshoot your iSight. http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/isight/iS....html#storytop
