Hey Samsung.  The next big thing is here and this is what it looks like.
"There are none so blind as those who will not see.   I suggest you read Scripture carefully. It denounces those who reject what is their natural state and act unnaturally in defiance of their god. The 'abomination' as you so quaintly describe it is the rejection of that which God has given. Since most homosexuals are what they are not through any act of rebellion or choice, it would, in actual fact, be an abomination for them to be forced to be anything other than they...
I despise the mainstream media in this country. They are getting too powerful and too corrupt. It's not about reporting who, what, when, where, and why but it's about greasing palms and influence peddling. Not only in the tech world but also in the reporting of what is supposedly news. I hope that Apple stays the course and continues to do what they've always done, make great products that people love. That means telling the tech publications to go pound sand and...
I have worked with and for gay people in the workplace and don't have a problem with anybody as long as they are competent in their job. My concern about "non discrimination legislation" is that it can be turned into reverse discrimination. For example, suppose a gay person is not competent in a job and doesn't get the promotion or gets let go. Then they accuse their boss of discrimination. Won't this law be used to pressure employers to show favoritism toward such...
Guess who's on the Ace Metrix roster of advertising clients? It's no wonder they scored Apple so low on their ads. Not exactly an objective evaluation of the ad, I would say. http://www.adoperationsonline.com/2012/06/04/ace-metrix-arms-samsung-with-next-generation-creative-effectiveness-platform/
If the worst the critics can come up with is that IOS is "boring" then that tells me it is doing it's job. That's not to say that improvements can't be made but "boring" sounds to me like a criticism from someone who wishes there were worse things to say. One of the philosophies behind Apple has been "where technology meets the arts". The interface that Apple designed was to put a more human face on the technology. I have a lot of respect for Jony Ives and if he feels...
Apple has decided they don't want to participate in pornography. I applaud and respect their decision. Many people see pornography as a first amendment right. I think the first amendment also includes the right to abstain from such things if a person or business decides to. I hope they stick to their guns.
This article says they are "presumed authentication chips." As I understand it, the lightening connector dynamically reassigns the cable pins according to the orientation of the cable. Could this chip be for the reassignment of pins and not authentication?
When I first updated my iPad to IOS 6 and looked at Apple Maps I had a few concerns. It looked a little different than Google Maps and I wondered if it had the same info. I held off on updating my iphone 4 at first but finally went ahead upgraded. I used it yesterday when going to see a friend and it worked just fine. As I was driving I came to a traffic jam. I checked my map and it showed me there was an accident ahead and that is something that I don't remember...
I wonder if Cook was the one who brought about the " reversal of a policy "?  I'll bet that was an interesting meeting!
