Samsung has been ordered to pay $1.05 Billion in damages to Apple. In addition, they will lose the processor contract in 2014 from Apple, which is a $4 billion dollar opportunity, and and roughly 4% of their annual business. This failure to find a common road with Apple, has also given TSMC the desire and ability to open a large manufacturing plant in the US, not only to service Apple, but its other customers as well. This will up the ante in terms of competition against...
"Samsung no longer needs Apple on its supply chain".  Yeah, $4 billion in annual revenue or 9% of their annual sales can easily be replaced. That statement alone sums up your entire business acumen. Lots of Samsung employees will be looking work. Maybe you are one of them?
Jong Kyun has sacrificed the 4 billion dollar gravy train that Apple has given them for what sounds like a Samsung chest thumping initiative. That's almost 9% of their total annual revenue. Multiple courts have already ruled in Apple's favor regarding intellectual property piracy and are paying damages. Let's see what the Samsung shareholders think of his action when Apple moves their entire 200 million unit, and growing, chip order to TSMC in 2014. Let's just say that...
What difference does it make? If Apple experiences a 20% cost increase, its an increase. If they don't raise retails to cover the cost, whatever that cost actually is, then it is absorbed into their profit margin, hence making earnings more difficult to achieve and the stock takes a hit, which seems to be the pattern these days. Apple is already getting pounced upon for their 'inflated' iPad mini retail, so it's unlikely that you would see any significant retail...
Samsung won't be able to replace this kind of volume from any other customers. They are trying to pad the loss with the short term 20% discount, but it doesn't bode well for shareholders in the long run. Furthermore, the patent infringement lawsuits and price hikes will serve as a deterrent for any other larger company to work with Samsung in the future. It would certainly make me think twice if I had the next best tech idea, but wanted to avoid someone copying it and/or...
Let's see, screw the low end stockholder with a 15% drop in stock price over basically a 2 week period, while in the middle of a variety of new product launches, and then state that you are 'impressed' with sales? Apple stock has to be the most manipulated holding on Wall Street. Somebody is making a ton of dough, but most just took a giant bath.

The only company in the world that can sell out of iPads, iPhones, etc., in record times, and its still not good enough for Wall Street. These analysts and speculators are making a ton of dough shorting this stock in a very strategic fashion, which always screws the small time investor.
Type 1 fonts are supported by every iPad, and are typically used in ANY corporate font set. Sounds like you have no clue what you are talking about. The bulk of implementation manuals that I've seen are finished product in the .PDF format for easy distribution, which supports Type 1 fonts and iPad formatting. In addition, Salesforce.com, the leader in cloud computing and CRM, also makes their sales apps VERY iPad friendly, and can be found in just about every major...
Apple needs to pay up, and then counter sue for any money that this guy has made as a result of the publicity, as his photography sucks.
