Amazingly, those are reasonable prices.
HOWEVER, I think that AT&T should offer similarly priced tethering plans so that iPhone users can just use that AT&T radio instead of buying another AT&T radio in the iPad.
I would love for AI and all the other big Mac sites out there to hold AT&T's feet to the fire re: delays in MMS (until "late summer") and tethering (assuming they will offer that at all). It's really obnoxious.

Why would ANYONE in the US buy an iPhone 3G to unlock and use on TMobile... they don't even have a 3G network! What is AT&T afraid of? The international market doesn't need to buy unlocked phones on eBay...
If this is really turns out to be a speed/stability release and drops support for PowerPC and/or Carbon, then I predict that they will position 10.6 as a concurrent alternative to 10.5.
