What about that original Video iPod (such as the 60GB model)? They're not obsolete and from what i gather they have the same hardwear as the newest versions (as in the 80GB model). So where is the search function....? It had better be in the pipeline.
the gapless playback is available on all ipod Videos once you have updated. The search function is not... i wish it were
ah thanks... the filtered search function was just hidden. I thought it odd that it wasn't there. Thanks again
hey all, remember in itunes 6 how apple introduced little buttons below the search field that said, "artist" "name" "album", to filter your search? Well as far as i can tell they aren't in iTunes 7! In my opinion, this is a step backwards (though its other features make up for it). Surely this must be a mistake? Why leave it out? Or is it simply hidden somewhere else now?
Definitely. The search functon is a must.If they can do it, then i seriously expect them to. One of the selling points of the iPod was that it was forwards thinking in that the Firmware could be updated as technology improved. An example of this was the addition of AAC compatibility to the orignal iPods.Don't let us down apple. If you can do it, then do it.However, if it is just a matter of time, then i can wait a bit - i'm still loving the gapless feature = )
Have you made sure that both albums are marked down as Compilations? That might make a difference, but i don't know. What you're suggesting is that your iPod is playing gaplessly on one album, but not the other, right? If so, try and work out what the difference between the two is. I've noticed that with iTunes 7, if you have a mixed CD, the 'Part of a Gapless Album' box makes no difference. It'll play it back gapless regardless. Which is fine by me = )
ok. i've got a DVD lens cleaning disc. It has a little brush attached to the disc, is this going to be safe to pop in my computer? it seems to be aimed at DVD players rather than comuter DVD drives, but they're all the same, so it should be fine, right?
Yes you're right. It's cool. I'll work it out. Stuffit isn' stuffing around, im just stupid.
My copy of Stuffit Expander is playing up (and i've tried re-installing it). When i go to unstuff a .rar file i get the following message: "please enter the decryption passphrase" http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?i...icture84lz.png I've googled it and found nothing. Does anyone know what's going on?
MacTheRipper isn't on this list http://www.macupdate.com/macintel.php ("NEW UNIVERSAL BINARY UPDATES:") and here it says PPC only: http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/14414
