Unless you (gasp!) finish paying for your house (by not choosing something beyond your means and watching your spending), and it's totally functional for your needs, with maybe the occasional renovation.  I'm serious about what I do, but not a photo pro and can do every thing I want in my old PS 7 and CS1 versions - having come from a darkroom background these are still like Arthur C. Clarke's definition of "magic" to me after all the years since they came out.  And I...
I get it. And point taken.OTOH, placing one of a kind (or few of a kind) special Edition models on the wrists of already full of themselves and rich celebretards is clearly effective marketing by reinforcing aspirational/identification-with imagery for younger demos even if (like "conspicuous consumption" in general) things like this have always turned me off. It's also (as a luxury item campaign) brilliantly cost effective - a news story about singer X with a gold link...
As do I, because as an adult, I don't want any corporation to continue to be my mother.  I went and got my own place even! For many millions (not all kids, not all parents, not all anything), iOS is their internet, and yeah you have Safari, but this is app world, and info in apps totally arguably should be as free as anywhere else on the net - with ample ability for parents and other guardians to lock down whatever content they choose.PS:  It's not just "porn" that...
....or we (well they) could go X....  ....as in iPhone X + a series of names.  Not repeating cats - or likely dogs, though there's hundreds - or Cali Place names.  Maybe flowers? iPhone X Larkspur sounds kinda X and kinda flowery at once........altho' this is hardware.  And that's more how Apple names software... ...NTM the existence of the HTC X1....  ....but something's likely to give before we see an "iPhone 27s"........Whatever, I've had a notion for awhile now that...
All this subtle font stuff is huge with Jony Ives and Jon Gruber, etc., but basically as lost on me as trying to think of a non-dumb reason I'd spend $17,000 on a case for a $350 smart watch.Guess I'm just a Philistine who'll never have a career in design... ...oh well....
What I already said.  But if you think about it, while more upscale and sophisticated, it's the same basic tactic used to make you feel like you're somehow connecting with the world of a famous athlete or whatever if you drink a certain sugary (or sucralose-y) carbonated beverage or eat some awful sat-fat/refined flour/mystery meat fast food concoction.Anyway, call me a reactive cynic about advertising and you'll be right.  But got it outta my craw.
All that infrastructure - built nearly all at once - will all age at once. What happens then....??We (or someone) shall see....
Where does the article say the broadcast STATIONS are on board?  All that's mentioned are the broadcast networks.  There's a diff between having access to network content from a central source and local channel content from hundreds of different channels.  So tbc, but I wouldn't bet on your local news being there....ESPN, OTOH, pretty likely given Apple's ties to Disney. All kinds of knots here.  Other examples:  I listen to Bloomberg radio on their site because clearer...
Obviously shot on Apple's Holodeck...
  1.  The MBA's on the path to legacy and the new MB's the forward wedge, but there's a rich legacy out there.  My 13' MB Air (i7/8GB/512GB) is my main computer and I'm driving a DVI monitor off the TB port and have a full 7 port USB dongle with things I have to switch in and out.  (External drives, optical drive, printer, scanner, charge phone, charge reserve battery for devices, etc.)So no, it doesn't travel much, but unlike an iMac I can take it on a plane when I do...
