I have an iPhone 4 and I have not been able to reproduce the reception problems that are described here. So I don't think this is widespread.
It's because America has a substandard education system compared to the rest of the developed world. This is the country where the lowest denominator (i.e., stupidest aka religious fanatic) can impose its will on the others: it's freedom of expression pushed to the extreme: because you can say anyting you want, you will always find someone who can shut you down....That said, and to the point of this thread, the business model for movie distribution is totally broken:...
Is anyone else having problems with the AIM app? It keeps crashing on me (iPhone 3G, 16GB)
I would love to purchase 2 iPhones as I am moving 2 phones from T-mobile to AT&T. However, I also heard that you can only buy 1 phone per person in line. So what is right? That's confusing.
I regard the entire situation as beneficial to everyone: It helps create a healthier, free market competition in the rigid/socialist-like cell phone market. These cell phone operators are all trying to lock customers in so that they can charge them the maximum amount of money without providing any value. They have done that for years and upset so many customers that now it's pay-back time. They only did this to themselves. Now if they only offered a little value that would...
Agreed. I am indeed waiting for that version to switch us to iPhones. The first version just did not have enough hard drive capacity (to justify as my old iPod replacement). With 16GB it is now better. Of course 32GB would be even better and I would certainly get that version if it existed. But this is no longer a show-stopper at 16GB. Some remaining problems: poor digital camera resolution, no data storage capability (like Palm), forced to move to AT&T (my current...
I somewhat agree with the comments, which I indeed intended to be my personal reaction to seeing this notebook for the first time. The reality is that it is a 3.0 Lb laptop and the low weight will allow you to overcome a LOT of other drawbacks. It's very, very tempting, in spite of everything else you might think (I might think) is wrong with it.One more thing: I am used to work with Pro desktop systems and my demand is very high as far as performance. I could easily see...
I have tried one of those at the Apple store in NJ today. It is a very durable, sturdy and incredibly light laptop. It feels just as durable as the Macbook Pro. Two issues: 1. The Apple key is 4 keys away from the left, instead of 3, as on my desktop keyboard . What is the "fn" function key for? Very confusing. 2. The screen is horrible!!! I just cannot stand these glossy screens. For me that is the one show-stopper. I need a matte screen. Otherwise the laptop was very...
Totally agreed. I also went to read the patent and the claim was obvious, even in 2003. This company is not real and the patent is there only to exploit a loophole in patent law. The patent itself should never have been awarded.
This update has not improved anything for me. iTunes 7.0.1 is still as unusable as iTunes 7.0: the UI does not refresh, movies do not display, the new fancy album display modes do not work(Dual 867 MHz PowerMac G4, 2GB RAM)I miss iTunes 6.x
