About that Bloomberg report of 'falling iPad mini demand'   http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2013/05/09/apple-ipad-mini-pegatron-bloomberg/
Apparently you still insist on sidetracking the thread!           No. Your inference is wrong   My original comment was really simple, to anyone paying attention. Apple sold more product in Q1 2013 than a year ago.   If you want to infer something from that... it should be "Why are all these analysts STILL suggesting that sales are dropping?'
If Apple sold the iPhone 5 for $99 NO contract they could have sold 50 million more?   What's your point, other than aiding and abetting yet another thread derailment?
So what?   Apple sold 10 million MORE iPhones and iPads in Q1 (YoY)   It's completely irrelevant what Samsung et all sold.
Read it again!
There is no mention of Microsoft's Surface in their report. On the other hand, IDC has Windows RT with a market share of 0.4% for the quarter. I wouldn't call that "not bad"

Apple fans... better prepare yourself for plenty more bad news like this in the coming months.   This report, alone, will result in dozens of "Apple crashing/tumbling/stumbling..etc" headlines. Followed by a flood of delirious anti-Apple comments. The whole process will repeat itself, in a few days, when Gartner release their smartphone figures.   On the smartphone front, there might be a few more quarters like this. Let's see if Apple's iPhone strategy...
"Then why the difference in numbers? Why are iPhones only 55% of the sales on VZW, but almost 70% on AT&T?"   "Upgrade cycle is not a good answer to explain why 7 out of 10 people didn't choose the iPhone because their upgrade cycle is up for renewal"     Maths problem?
