Geez it is incredibly badly done ! I followed all the steps, and I always get the same : it asks for a credit card, and there isn't any "no credit card" option !
I already tried creating a new ID. It asks for a credit card.
Without a credit card ? How ?
I don't use any credit card. So I can't even download the free apps from the MAS. What a useless piece of crap !
Finally, the update info page isn't blank anymore : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4459 That's all there is to 10.6.5 -> 10.6.6 ?? Geez, this is the most minor update I ever saw from Apple. Not worth the download !
There isn't much there. According to what I saw, the 10.6.6 update is a futile update ! What are the fixed bugs ?
I'm getting a blank page (all white).
Well, I hope Apple didn't made a whole update of their OS just to give us the App Store crap. What are the other changes in Snow Leopard ? This page is blank (from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1343) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4459 Browsing apps in the App Store is a pain in the butt. There doesn't seem to have a Math/Scientific section ! Where are the scientific apps ?
Where can we find a complete list of changes in 10.6.6, appart the App Store application ? I tried the App Store app, and really it's lame in its current state ! MacUpdate and VersionTracker are MUCH better, when you want to browse apps. I don't understand all the buzz about the App Store. The only advantages I see are some reduced prices and the ability to get an app more directly.
Because it would be slow. And I'll have to decrypt each file individually, which is counter-productive (slow and a pain in the butt). What I want is this : I insert the USB key into the keyboard. OS X (or any other OS) asks for a password to mount the drive on desktop. Once the password is given, the drive mounts itself and I have access to all the files on it. That's all.Is this possible ? How ?
