The roof at the Boston store looks really cool (see link for pic). I wish I could go out there, sit on the grass and work on a MacBook. Can't wait to see the store in person tomorrow.

As long as he didn't eat your watermellon... or cat.
I've been pulling hair out all morning over this one. We have a new Windows 2008 server for file sharing. We are trying to connect to it via SMB on our network (with AD domain). Works great on PC, works on Leopard, does not work on Tiger. From connect I type “smb://xxxxxxxx” after a few minutes I get an error: “could not connect to the server because the name or password is not correct” which is odd because I haven’t entered any login credentials to begin...
Wow, someone is bitter... I've lived in Boston all my life and don't follow the red sox at all. I hear hardly anything at work about them, I really don't care if people choose to wear red sox appeal - pink, green or other, I don't watch local news (not because of their love affair with the red sox, I just don't need to hear about fires and murders everyday), and I've rode the green line after a sox game without any incidents from drunk "frat boys". That said, I've seen...
oh, and when the throws the camera into the audience.
When Steve introduced the iBook, picked it up while it was streaming video and put it through a hula-hoop. IT WAS WIRELESS! Pure showmanship, it was awesome. I also liked with Phil jumped off a ledge with his ibook, classic.
hmm... this all might be the egg nog talking... This thread brings back some good old memories of blackouts, secret forums, watermelons, and ugly black and green color schemes. I'm curious how many posters here remember reading pages that looked like this: http://web.archive.org/web/199904290...leinsider.com/ or this http://web.archive.org/web/200102070...n/Ultimate.cgi I can't believe I was browsing these same forums over 6 years ago. I've been a lurker for the past...

Really? I don't know anyone who knows how to get free games into their standard AT&T/Verizon/Sprint/ Whatever-else phones. Most people if they want games shell out a couple bucks to download them from the wireless provider. I would bet that the logical course would be downloaded games from the 'iTunes on iPhone" store... along with music and eventually TV Shows / Movies. (I don't just mean the WiFi store, but over the wireless network)
