One might note that PayPal gets a significant percentage of each transaction, thus they make a lot more money than someone who's simply acting as an intermediary.   Secondly, while I agree that various signs point to Apple getting into mobile payments, it's also possible that the "inked" "card present" deals with AMEX and Visa could simply pertain to lower transaction fees for iTunes and AppStore purchases. Nothing more, nothing less.

IOW, Apple has released some updates for their Pro apps... that they haven't yet decided to discontinue.
Apple should bump it up to 2GB. Larger screens mean that the phone is going to be more and more for browsing web sites, news sites, pulling in more data from Facebook, etc.. Not to mention that, just once, I'd like to see Apple work on future-proofing a device.
They talk about illuminated buttons and buttons with markings... so if we were going to have an illuminated button for notifications... and if we didn't want something on the back like the LED... then  why not an illuminated sleep/wake or volume button?
Of course, if Apple zapped all of the Windows CC applications, Microsoft would take it  as a shot across the bow and shut down Office for Mac.
I'm sure that people who are sitting in front of consoles prefer consoles. That said, you're not always sitting in front of an 80" screen, are you?
Maybe if they bond the screen to the glass that will get rid of the slightly hollow sound you get when tapping on the newer devices.
You did see the part about lengths up to 100m, right?
Actually, they've punted on this again and again and again. Instead of telling developers to dynamically resize layouts and assets, they've done the "retina" pixel-doubling dance on the iPhone, the iPad, and the MacBook Pro. Apple needs to take a deep breath and tell its WWDC attendees, 'THIS is the year of resolution independence. Do it now, update your apps this one time, and you'll be good on all Apple devices and screens going forward."
