I admire your perseverance. I'd have given up within minutes.
Hi kenrc, Unix-fu lets a printer work with a Mac that wouldn't normally work. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to get this going you need to download and install: foo2zjs-1.1-UB.dmg, foo2zjs-1.1-UB.dmg and gplgs-8.61-ub.dmg from http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/O...MacOSX/foo2zjs and then you can use the System Preferences to install your printer as normal. Give it a go and let us know how you get on.
I can't believe nobody has mentioned Diggnation yet!!
Odd. I have the same MBP and don't get this.
I will take the survey (in a sensible manner) in a few minutes
This is starting to get very annoying. They can't seem to make their minds up on whether this feature is going to be a feature or not. On, off, on off. I wish they'd just pick a strategy and stick with it.
iChat should be installed by default with a 10.4.11 installation.
I put one on a notebook and I think I'm going to put the other one on my MBP skin
I believe that the current apex of video conferencing is the Cisco Telepresence unit. Not sure how much bandwidth it requires, but it's probably a *lot*. Have a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisco_Telepresence I've used the smaller one (the one with a single display) and the quality was astounding.
They rarely make a fuss over it
