If they were smart, they'd pay $400K to the little no-talent piss-pot to actually never mention their company or products.
I could be bothered to give a damn about some of this if the guy doing the analyzing/speculating wasn't so full-tilt clueless, off his rocker and outright wrong about everything he analyzes and speculates about.   I honestly don't know how - or why - some of these people have jobs. I admit, I'm a bit jealous...it must be great to rake in such a healthy income from being wrong way more than being right. In what other field/industry is that the norm?   "My supply checks...
If you've owned every iPhone (including, I assume, the 5), were you not aware that the 5s has the same body/screen size? Nowhere in the marketing for the 5s was "new larger screen" mentioned, so what were you expecting? If you did know the 5s was the same as the 5, screen-wise, then why buy something you knew you were "bored with", and wouldn't be happy with (and destined to return after a single day )?Odd.I'm not being a jerk. I just can't figure out why you bought the...
A strange article.   The headline made me think "wow, some sort of breakthrough material or bumper design/look that (somehow) hasn't been done yet? Cool...I'll check this out!"   Not really.   Seriously...it's a bumper. There aren't too many ways to do one, when you think about it (and still have it be legitimately classified as a "bumper"). So the big front-end buildup proved to be a little excessive.   And the breathless gushing came across like a Harry...
I don't think it was in relation to the threads (with threads going in opposite, conflicting directions...that would indeed be a useless, non-working screw design).   It seems they're talking about the screwhead itself, with its weird design that no existing, regular screwdriver of any type would fit into (asymmetrical, as in no right angles or straight-across lines that an existing Phillips or flat-tip driver could work with, and certainly none of the torx or...
What in the hell is a "promenade" publication?
Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking. Hell, the iPod mini (even though we didn't know its name yet) was talked about for MONTHS here, ThinkSecret, MacRumors.com, etc. No one was surprised. Only the design and name were a mystery until the keynote. But everyone was expecting a lower-capacity, fun colored "little brother" to the iPod. And iMac 2 WOULD'VE been a surprise if not for Time Canada. I still remember the first time I saw those leaked photos the night...
I can't believe no one mentioned the iBook G4 from last year! I remember waking up, seeing their page with the two new G4 iBooks on it and literally wiping my eyes and kinda shaking my head (like I wasn't sure I was awake yet and reading things properly). There was no real talk of the iBook going to a G4. We all wished it, but we seemed just resigned to the fact that their "consumer laptop probably has to stay with a G3 for a while". I was jazzed because that...
Will it have wings? That's the question.
kcmac, you've got it backwards. The conditions don't create the section, it's the other way around. Give people a place to act like dicks, and, mostly likely, they will. No one truly loses control and composure prior to a keynote...it's just expected (and, in a way, encouraged). Actually, if they were good fakes, done with some flair AND (here's the worst part) kinda done tongue-in-cheek and letting everyone know it's a put-on, that wouldn't be bad. Those are fun and...
