Is it Future Perfect Tense?  A tense that indicates an action will have been completed (finished or "perfected") at some point in the future. Nope. The tense is formed with "will" plus "have" plus the past participle of the verb. The title doesn't have any of that. "More than 70% of Apple Music revenues passed to rights owners, Apple confirms" A more accurate title would be "More than 70% of Apple Music revenues will be passed to rights owners, Apple confirms"
OP needs to fix the title.Apple could not have "passed" 70 cents of every dollar it earned from Apple Music when the service won't start for another 2 weeks.
Half their sales outlets? Amazon is only 1 outlet. Yes, any supplier can walk away, some do, some don't. Examples below. GTAT described their negotiation with apple as a "bait and switch" Apple Inc pulled a "bait and switch" move to force GT Advanced Technologies into a money-losing deal to supply the iPhone maker with sapphire, according to an affidavit by a senior executive at the company. At the start of negotiations, Apple offered to buy 2,600 sapphire growing...
No, publishers have other outlets to sell their products. Amazon was not trying to hurt the writers livelihood. Amazon actually encouraged their customers to go to a competitor if the title wasn't available at Amazon. From the link I provided earlier... "If you do need one of the affected titles quickly, we regret the inconvenience and encourage you to purchase a new or used version from one of our third-party sellers or from one of our competitors."Would apple do that?...
Wrong.  "...we (Amazon) are currently buying less (print) inventory and "safety stock" on titles from the publisher, Hachette, than we ordinarily do, and are no longer taking pre-orders on titles whose publication dates are in the future. Instead, customers can order new titles when their publication date arrives. For titles with no stock on hand, customers can still place an order at which time we order the inventory from Hachette – availability on those titles is...
Amazon earned that market fair and square by creating their own e-reader with the publishers providing the content. If the publishers didn't like the deal, they could have walked away instead of signing the agreement.Would it change your mind if you found out Amazon had told them the same thing apple told GTAT, "Put on their big boy pants and accept the agreement"?   Apple knew they couldn't compete so they had to cheat. If Apple thought they were a viable competitor, they...
Antitrust laws were created to promote vigorous competition and protect consumers from anticompetitive mergers and business practices.   Anybody that thinks antitrust laws were created to prevent businesses from losing money from their archaic business model or to guarantee themselves a certain profit level are more than ignorant.       Guide to Antitrust Laws Free and open markets are the foundation of a vibrant economy. Aggressive competition among sellers in an...
People probably said the same thing when color TVs came out, but are you sure you want to center your life around a $199 cell phone with a 2 year contract?
