Lets wait until the two Korean giants have products out the market before we start bashing. Personally, I think this is Job's way of preempting the market in favor of schewing the anaylysts/investors in Apple's favor. If Jobs is wrong, it could back fire on him pretty badly.
This is one of their accessory for the Galaxy Tab. This should get interesting. http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/28/g...-99-pre-order/
The second picture does'nt have a plug in it. Your argument is invalid.Oh for those naysayers, the Galaxy Tab has a AFFS display where the iPad has S-IPS display: http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20100907VL202.html
That is because no apps are built specifically for it. Give it some time (just like how the iPad had little applications upon launch).
Apple's OEM partner factory is 3 blocks from the store. So no supply issues there. Made by China, for China.
The Galaxy Tab, specifically, has optimized its core apps and UI conventions to suit the Tablet style. Check out this video:http://androidcommunity.com/samsung-...2010-20100908/
Since we all love pictures: Galaxy Tab has higher pixel per inch than the iPad. 1024 x 600 on a 7" screen vs 1024 x 768 on a 9.7" screen.
But Samsung is the worlds #2 phone maker and #1 flat screen maker. If its anyone who can step up to the plate, it would be Samsung. No one else has the cash or means to do it. They sold 220 million phones last year. A few tens of millions is chump change to them.
