  • Apple Fellow Phil Schiller quits Twitter

It is comical reading some of these posts.  To quit because of a person being on it (you can block lol) or because Elon owns it…also not anyone with self respect cares if you quit.  Good bye.  Cya.  Twitter is 10x more balanced than ever.  I now see all views.  Why is that bad?

  • The new Mac mini is a great machine, but a $499 model could serve a larger audience

Unfortunately Apple under Cook is way too greedy for that. The iPhone has convinced them that people are more than willing to pay crazy high prices for an Apple product so why should they release an iPhone or Mac aimed towards education or lower income buyers. If people stopped paying the crazy high prices then Apple would have to lower their margins. But until then Apple has zero incentives to make affordable products for education or anyone else.
You may call that greedy but then again you probably don't own or run a business and have little understanding of what it takes to be successful.

  • HomePod private beta could be testing voice calls, multiple timers

These will be welcome additions.  My main request is multiple user support but that may be ahead of its time.  It is very important that Apple authenticates who it is and what is shared audibly.  Unfortunately I think this is waaaaaaay more complicated than multiple users on a device.

  • New video shows drone crashing onto roof at Apple Park

The crashed drone looks like a Phantom series as well. I know that 1st and 2nd gen phantoms had issues with interference from WIFI and other electronics which would be be significant on this property I would guess. I had loss of signal issues with Phantom 2 only when I flew it above and close proximity to my house which has WIFI up the ying yang...Even if they improved this with Phantom 3 and 4 still could be an issue...plus any number of technical issues that could have led to this as well. Pilot error also could be a culprit. I would not want the bill for replacing one of those panels...

  • Exhaustive acoustical analysis demonstrates HomePod is '100 percent an audiophile-grade sp...

I have used HomePod in my office and at home. The audio at all levels is very impressive. I would concur that this unit produces great sound. Only issue I have found is in a party setting. I had 20 people over Saturday night (yes it was a good time) and HomePod had trouble listening to commands with all the ambient noise...I hope they can somehow figure this out...I just simply switched to iPhone control of the music and was fine. In a quite setting it works great.
