That would mean no Nehalem based processors in the new iMac, and a new airport express with the possibility to add a UMTS SIM in it.

I was waiting for Nehalem and LED backlit display though, looks like I may have to wait 2010.

will be what it's going to be

Thanks Mr.X
Looks like the base model imac appears to have a 3.06 C2D.
That's got to be good news for the rest of the line.

I'm using one right now Samsung SyncMaster P2270. Pretty decent panel for the price, and nice design too. Still, the extra width doesn't offer any benefits at all, except when watching movies.

NO FREAKIN WAY!!! GET OUT!!!

I'm actually not kidding...

1080p screens must logically follow with.... 1080p content! (yea I went to FOUR count em FOUR years of college!) and with a little deductive reasoning... This means: BluRay is close and/or iTunes just got SUPER IMPORTANT!

While I've been ranting for Apple to support BluRay cause I think they need to... However, the idea of iTunes 1080p with a REAL catalog of titles just got really exciting!

Thank you for a funky time, call me up whenever you wanna grind...

If there's blu-ray in whatever's being released I'm unexpectedly buying six months earlier than planned. Can't see it myself though.

BTR is Bluetooth, silly. 84 is the number of keys on a keyboard without a number pad.

That's one of iNerd's predictions! Maybe he had an actual source after all.

What's up with the "3.06"? Another Penryn bump? Clarksfield with Turbo Boost?

Perhaps a split into iMac and iMac pro.
