sniff ...sniff...may have lost my imac g3 strawberry:(

i've had this baby since new g3 dv 400 running 10.4.11

tried and true as internet, and print server

had a lightning storm the other day



now when booting up i get grey screen and this

/etc/master.passwd:invalid argument

-sh:etc/profile:invalid argument

-sh -2.05b#



tried to boot from my cloned external HD with

option key get arrow circle g3HD > (right arrow) when i click right arrow the above comes up



tried

shift-option-command-delete same





target disk mode to view my external -----just the firewire logo





tried single user mode

fsck

same as above





do i take her to hospice.....get out the crash cart.....more keyboard actions???



is she in pain??
