For those of you like me, who haven't got a homepage to store images...You'll find this site fantastic.

Free membership + Free unlimited storage

http:www.photogra.com

Has public & private folder areas so it will make it easy to paste images to Ai..
Handles j-pegs, gifs etc & is compatible with MAC.
Has sizing tools etc
Even the page layout looks OS-X -ish.

Heaven sent for all us poor boys..
Good luck to them...

looks like the fine print would preclude using it mainly to hotlink images from

That would seem to be a generic catch all policy.

Besides which..if they are offering free membership, free storage as well as " public folders "..& inviting people to view & download images..then they are contradicting their own conditions.

just call whatever pictures you have an album and i think you pass the test. "...this is an album of a family wedding, and at that wedding we saw a prototype of the new apple lineup..."

How is this a general, catch-all policy? They do not want you using it to link images as you are suggesting. Do it if you feel like leeching their bandwidth illegally, just don't cry when they ban your ass and delete all of your data on you.

Hmmm....Then what is the purpose of their having " Public Folders " for us to use & view other people's images...they become in effect part of the public arena...
But I have re-read & I take your point along with that of curiousburb...

So Murbot, got any ideas for an alternative photo-linky thingamajig...site ?

Cheers

Aqua
