Going to Montreal this weekend-what should I do?

My family is going to Montreal for the next few days, any suggestions? It looks like the good stuff there like fireworks already happened.

Went there with my girlfriend a few months ago. Make sure you hit St. Catherines street. Makes almost any other street in North America look like Amish villages..definately lots to see there. Old Montreal is nice for a tour and lunch. The Island is supposed to be a nice park setting, but I skipped it. Mont Royal is also supposed to be nice. I was only there for a couple days, so that's about all I can recommend.

Warning: I stopped off in Montreal last year and had a few problems. First, me and my three friends picked a random exit and ended up in 'boys town' Montreal. No big deal. But, when one of my group ordered beers for everyone, since the bartender only spoke French, he accidentally brought four PITCHERS of beer. That was tough.

Hehe I hear that eugene. Thanks for the recommendations. Old Montreal is great. I'm coming back with my college buds later. Most of the St Cathrine St is embarrassing with family! Le Sexxe Shop with Le Dildo. Any ideas for strip clubs when I come back in a few weeks.

Well, apperantly the swingers clubs are semi-legal there now. The only restriction the judge in a recent case imposed was that the rooms the action takes place in must have doors. You may still walk into any room and join in the activities, but you can't just stand outside in the hall and watch.

the best places to visit in montreal are boulevard st laurent (the main). here you will find, among other things, schwartz's deli, best smoked meat in mtl. also, lots of shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants. walking around this area is fun too. walking east you will come to rue st. denis. nice shops and nice women! on st. denis below sherbrooke is the quartier latin, which is quite fun at night. ste catherine is nice, but really not the best side of montreal. if you are on ste-catherine, check out st james united church. through a side entrance and on the second floor is bmac, the canadian version of an apple store.

i've lived in montreal for over 12 years and it is a great city, enjoy!

Hey thanks. Where are you in this city? Apparently this week it's the gay pride festival. Not that there's anything wrong with that. (Seinfeld)

I believe Stuff magazine rated Montreal as the best city for getting laid. Because the laws are much less restrictive there with regards to strip clubs and the like... it's like $100 Canadian to take one of the ladies upstairs... that's only like $20 USD

I will feel a glow just thinking of you... and the way you look tonight.
