Gigabit connection between OS9 & OSX

Hi,



I'd like to know if I need a special driver for OS 9 to network at Gigabit speed with an OS X desktop



I have a 15" AL PowerBook with Gigabit ethernet and a Dektop MD 1.25 Dual with Gigabit. When I connect both computers through my Gigabit Switch in OS X the speed is 1000, but If my Desktop is in OS 9 and the PowerBook in OS X the speed is 100.



Are there incompatibilities between OS 9 and OS X to run in Gigabit mode? Do Ineed a special driver in OS 9 to enable gigabit connections with OS X Clients?
