MP3 Piracy

Is it still not legal to download covers and stuff that were never sold? Like there are many dave matthews songs that he does once at single places and i have almost all of them, is that still considered, well bad? How else would I get them?! <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

I am sure it is still not the right thing to do, but I am not sure since the songs are not on any albums but I am sure they are copyrighted by the artist.

It is only illigal if you are downloading something that is being distributed without the artists permission. However if Dave Matthews Band was distributing them for free (in a legal manner) then that would be fine.

DMB isnt doing this so the answer to your question simply is YES!
