Yeah I wondered that too. But I did a bit of research. These guys aren't really trying to sell us this stuff. These links are for Google robots. Place the links in a 100 forums and you increase the chances of moving up the legitimate search results.
The ones I don't get are the e-mails with a fairly normal subject line, but seemingly random content. There are no links in most of them. It's just a random snippet of text that might as well be an excerpt from a novel written by the insane. Anyone seen these? I can't find any examples in my trash right now, but I know I've seen them.
