I liked it at the bottom <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
It took less space and the "from" field was easier to read since it didn't break up into multiple lines.

That's one of the reasons why I liked it better at the bottom. I like it better when mine said Nanuet, New York but since New York didn't fit on one line and looked stupid on two I just put NY like I had before AI went down.

Hate to agree, but I liked it better on the bottom as well. On the side tends to screw up formatting when there's long "From"s.

Why not put that silly IP:Logged thing on the side too, to make a page's height overrall smaller?

Does the IP thing even need to be there? I guess you moderators/admins might use it, all what, 8 of you?

Put the IP:Logged thingy on top of the posts, but as an icon (same height as "Profile", "Edit" etc.)

But leave the User Info on the side!

The user info will be kept on the left. Sorry, but the majority of people (except in this thread) want it on the left, and it keeps the length of the posts (and page) smaller.

I will try and get the "IP : logged" moved over as well, which is a good suggestion.

Well until the IP : logged gets moved it doesn't make anything smaller.

Keep it on the left. It looked weird on the bottom. Makes for less junk to see between posts.
