It is a fact also that you have tried, over many pages of this thread, to deny that when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected, there was an outpouring of celebration from many conservative Americans. Instead of denying or affirming this statement, you concentrate on my grammar and definitions.

You do this because you do not want to contemplate the revolting behaviour of your side.

Enjoy avoiding facts you dont like.

Your claim is patently false because your sample size is anecdotal and made up of crap you found on the internet.

Yes, Trumptman. I read that post.

The thing is, even if my grammar is as bad as you say it is, it is still a fact that there was a very public outpouring of celebration from prominent American conservatives when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

That is still a fact.

And it is still a fact that you continue to deny it.

I don't remember that happening. I think it's one of those things that "we all know" because someone at the NYT or HuffPo said it did.

What I remember is that some wags got a good chuckle out of it and used it to point out the ineptitude of Obama and his team. It was the beginning of the end of Obama's "show up, smile and they'll love US (again)" foreign policy.

Hey FloorJack.

Nah, it really happened. There really was a very public outpouring of celebration from prominent American conservatives (commentators on the media, activists on blogs, conferences) when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected. I posted a bunch of links.

Here's a post with some of them:

http://forums.appleinsider.com/showp...&postcount=248

I posted a bunch of others too.

Ah, trumptman, you have just posted a photograph of a woman and a large turd in a toilet boil.

And yet it is still a fact that there was a very public outpouring of celebration from prominent American conservatives when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

To put it another way:

EVEN THOUGH you have posted a picture of someone's shit, IT IS STILL TRUE that there was a very public outpouring of celebration from prominent American conservatives when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

And it is STILL TRUE that you deny it.

Now, why is that?

A bunch of cranks posting in internet forums is meaningless. Got anything salacious from congress members or party leaders?

I've got Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck live on air to an audience of millions, I've got a meeting of Americans for Prosperity (Mike Huckabee was there, having just spoken, but wasn't in the room) and I've got Michelle Malkin and others...

The links are all there upthread.

Yep, that's some very public celebrating from prominent and activist American conservatives when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

Please link to where I denied it. You can't because I never denied the exception. Thanks, for playing try again.

Interesting, trumptman!

The words YOUR CLAIM IS PATENTLY FALSE are A DENIAL.

And oh look! EVEN THOUGH you have posted a picture of a girl on bicycle, IT IS STILL TRUE that there was that there was a very public outpouring of celebration from prominent American conservatives when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

But I'm interested.

Do you deny that there was a very public outpouring of celebration from prominent and activist American conservatives when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected?

See you want to play games MJ. My denial is on your statement that contains the quantifier "many."

You then make up quotes and claim that I denied any as opposed to many.

You can't find a quote where I ever denied any because the dispute has always been about many.

Please find the quote from me that supports your claim. It doesn't exist. If you can't find it, then withdraw the claim as you have had to do already in three other instances in this thread. You've already been proven wrong three times. The last one is just the same.

Thats nice. You really like that failblog, dont you?

Anyway. Your objection was only to my use of the word many then?

OK. So at least you agree that it is a fact that prominent conservative Americans, broadcasters, activists and writers, publicly celebrated when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected?

It took this many pages and half a dozen people for you to finally get this?

I've already answered this. Go find the answer and quote it instead of repeating the question. Learn some good habits.

It's a really long thread.

Just remind me.

Do you or do you not agree with the fact that prominent conservative Americans, broadcasters, activists and writers, publicly celebrated when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected?

Do a search. Use the quote function. If you are going to accuse people of saying something then you need to do the work to back it up.

I've done a search.

I see you do quite clearly agree that conservative Americans publicly celebrated when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

No one has disputed that a plural number of conservative celebrated.

Sorry MJ but you've used up your time and goodwill. Between the false claims and the fake quotes, I don't really have time for your concerns. Maybe in another few months.

How terribly convenient!

I've used up my "good will" no, no no nonono I've used up my store of GOOD WILL from trumptman!

Well, I'm sorry, trumptman, but you brought the subject up again. YOU raised the subject of my inability to deal with quantifiers here, in this post: http://forums.appleinsider.com/showp...91&postcount=6

So, you can either apologise for that, or you can see this argument through to the end.

It's the only honourable thing to do.

do you mean ALL lefties? Or just one or two, as in the sentence above?

Good lord.

This just in!

I said that conservatives celebrated when Barack Obama's pitch to the IOC was rejected. You can review the last four pages of this thread, which are very instructive. Trumptman says that this wasn't true, despite the video, and the audio, and the transcripts (links above.)

Indeed, he said this, on this page:

So trumptman, when you say...

This changes EVERYTHING!

Perhaps we could start with your "sample size" of "lefties"?

We'll take it from there.

Well, no, NoahJ, that doesn't prove that "lefties" celebrated when Reagan died. trumptman will tell you why.

Thanks, anyway.

trumptman. About your "sample size" of lefties.

Is it greater or larger than the video, audio, transcripts and links I provided showing conservatives celebrating when Barack Obama's pitch to the IOC was rejected?

trumptman, when you say that "lefties cheered when Reagan announced that he had Alzheimer's", how can I be sure that the following isn't true?

It's just that you said that to me when I said that many conservatives celebrated when Barack Obama's pitch to the IOC was rejected, and showed you about a dozen links to prove it.

Just to be consistent, could you explain this to me?

Thanks!
trumptman, it seems that this is a question you're trying to ignore. But it's very important indeed that you don't.

As I've noted, you've opened yourself up to accusations of terrible insincerity, hypocrisy and using annoying obfuscation to try and win an unwinnable argument.

You have the chance to prevent these accusations, and I'm sure you will, because clearly you have an excellent explanation. I'd like to give you the opportunity of sharing this explanation with everyone.

I said that many conservatives celebrated when Barack Obama's pitch to the IOC was rejected. One of your final arguments denying this was:

So when you say

Quote:

how does your "sample size" compare with mine, and how does your evidence compare with mine?
It seems to me that you finally agree with me! Finally!

If "lefties" might have "cheered" when Reagan announced that he had Alzheimers, "conservatives" might have celebrated when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected!

Finally! Ive proven my case, and you havent, but you agree that many conservatives celebrated when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected!

That wasnt so hard, was it? You wasted pages and pages arguing this with me, but finally! You agree that you wasted all that time, and that many conservatives did indeed celebrate when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected!

You havent shown a single piece of evidence, not one. And even though Ive shown video, and audio, and copied transcripts, and linked to blogs like Michelle Malkin, and Ive proved my case and you havent, you admit that, yes, conservatives cheered when Barack Obamas pitch to the IOC was rejected.

Excellent. Welcome back to reality, trumptman.

Welcome home.

It was difficult to do, as I just ate lunch.
