I wonder how Wendy's restaurants are handling it? Do you think the employees are perhaps wearing a ribbon or armband or something? Or that they're put a sign/poster somewhere, acknowledging it?

Should've gone to Wendy's tonight for a burger, just to assess the vibe/mood.

While driving by the Wendy's by my house yesterday, I noticed the big light up board under the sign (you know, the one where they post the "specials" or "open till i am" had the message:

Our Friend
Our Founder
You Will Be Missed
We Love You Dave

I wonder how true the sentiment is. I don't know too many CEO's that would inspire genuine sarrow at their passing...

I actually ate at Wendys today. No arm bands, no ribbons, no signs outside. Just a normal day at Wendys.

My chest hurts though <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

We went to Wendy's at the weekend. First time I've been in a long, long time. I wonder if Mr. Thomas' final contribution to the company will be to increase sales?

I'm not really big on fast food, but I have to admit my 1/4lb single was really very good.

And I left a contribution for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, so I've not been entirely horrible to the poor man.
