Korbut, 46, a four-time Olympic gold medal winner, was arrested last week on a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting $19 worth of groceries in Norcross. She denied shoplifting the items.

This should come as nae surprise. History is littered wi' gymnastic child prodigies for whom the parallel bars were but a hop, skip and a jump awa' frae a career o' unremitting wickedness and mayhem.

Viz:

"Spandex" Stalin
Vlad "Triple Flip" the Impaler
Adolf "Leather Shorts" Shicklegruber

et al...

They may have impressed the judges wi' a flawless display o' gazelle like prowess in their youth, but if history teaches us one lesson it is beware the gymnast in your midst.
