Great place. I got to meet some of the people there once. They did some work I didn't think was possible.

Damn, came in here looking for some ideas. It's me and my b/f's third valentines day together, and while I classify it as a worthless "hallmark holiday" through and through, I still like to do something special every year, unfortunately, I'm plum out of ideas this time 'round. I do have something big planned for our anniversary in a month, though.

any ideas, or things you've done in the past? please, a little help...

Well the most important thing is to remember that there is a valentine days tomorrow. The important is to do something special for these day, but there is no need to do magical event.

I have a lovely day planned for tomorrow

School till 1:15.

then I have to study for a Logarithim Test, 5 chapter AP American History test, Spanish quiz, test on Macbeth, possible quiz in Physics and then a "mandatory" college night at my school.

Are there any especially gay Valentines activities? Something completely un-hetero? Maybe switching up the batting order? Sorry! But you gotta admitt, that just isn't gonna happen in to many hetero couplings, though I did hear this story once involving... well, role play. Serious, homo-jibes aside, in a social sense, any unique gay permutations of this little love festival.

Lets see...school until 2:50, go home, work on the seminar i have to present on friday (i'm procrastinating from doing it by posting here on AI). Then i have cheerleading practice from 5:30-8 (see the website in my signature). I will come home, and continue to work on the seminar until it is ready. Fun stuff.

I'm single this year too, however over the past week things with my ex have been getting better. We broke up a little less than a year ago, but as of now i'm not sure where things will lead. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Looks like it's a bottle of wine and a DVD for me.

Unless someone in the NYC area doesn't mind being seen out with a bald chick?

I can thoroughly recommend the treatment to girls who want to lose weight and avoid painful bikini waxing.

I broke up with my G/F last friday....so I'm single then...but it doesn't bother me cause I don't really get anything out of valentines day anyway.

I'm pretty lucky -- I have a great, affectionate girlfriend who doesn't go in for this kind of traditional stuff. She believes, like I do, that people in relationships ought to be pleasant to each other, and treat the relationship as valuable, more than one day out of the year.

I honestly believe that most people treat Valentine's Day as a contest to see who has the best story to tell in the office the next day.

I have a friend that went throught that. He said he looked 12 years old down there He didn't lose the hair on his head so much though. It got patchy but after a hair cut he looked rather normal.

As much as I hate to admit it, the fact that this is our third valentines in a row and we're still together makes us abit of an oddity among our gay friends. being in college, at art school no less, there aren't that many couples that've made it this far and stuck together.

One of our friends broke up with his b/f of nearly a year just this past weekend, caught him cheating on him the week before valentines, what a prick. most of our other gay friends are perpetually single, though, come to think of it, so are our straight friends....

hmmm, maybe we're not that weird afterall.

Though I do know that a bunch of our single friends got together to drink and bitch about how much guys suck, and we, not too suprisingly, weren't invited.

we ended up exhanging gifts, going out to dinner, and doing the usual completely un-hetero thing three times today, woo-hoo.

As far as the "batting order" as you so bluntly put it, there seems to be this misconception among straight people that this sort of thing is set in stone. In our case, it has always pretty much depended on who is in what sort of a mood. I do sometime feel sorry that straight people don't enjoy such a variety of possible experiences.

She's leaving for Paris today. Going to be gone for a year. (That's how long her work permit is for.) I'll probably go over there to visit. That's what I'm thinking now. I don't know. I dialed down the Valentine's Day thing but at the last minute I capitulated. Something will be waiting for her in France. Nothing's going to come of this.
