I hope this isn't a double post, but I didn't see anything when I searched. Hopefully someone can answer or point me in the right direction...
I had a few folders and files on my desktop. When I try to delete them I am prompted for my password, when entered my password is accepted I hear a click but the file is not moved to the trash.
Based on threads here I have read:
- If I drag it to a different location it will copy. After copying I still cannot delete.
- If I open the file information my account is listed as having read-write permissions and my account is listed as an admin account in settings.
- I did a repair permissions and restarted. Then I repaired and restarted again. Then I verified and repaired my disk. Then I restarted again.
- I did NOT open terminal and try any commands. Those posts went right over my head and scare me a little.
Anyt houghts?
Thanks.
