Pull out the old '75 Camaro, light up the wacky weed and crank up the Rock Block of Bad Company...this movie rocks!

"Scotland, PA" puts Shakespeare's Macbeth in 1975 in a small rural town in Pennsylvania. Very funny and well acted. Lots of unknowns in the cast. But Christopher Walken and Andy Dick are in it. I must point oot that there is a widely held belief amangst those who tread the UBBoards that merely mentioning the the name o' "The Scottish (PA) Play" is tae tempt fate in a maist wild and reckless manner. Ill omens! Portents o' Doom! Fell Fortune! And maybe a wee bit bad luck just tae rub salt in the wound!

Superstition? Alas no. Inexplicable things must surely follow. Even noo the cackling crones o' cyber catastrophe are mixing the ingredients o' ignomony and it is almost certain that a member o' AI, a relative o' a member o' AI or a friend o' a relative o' a member will - at some time during this year - suffer some kind o' mishap.

No' only that when I was at school aboot xx(ahem) years ago, aged 14 or so, oor Gym Mistress was a Miss McBeth. A muscular blondy heidit lady in her twenties I suppose. She used tae bring us bad luck every Wednesday afternoon in the form o' The Tawse (heavy leather punishment belt, popular in Scottish schools at that time). Whack, Whack. QED.
