So? If you live in your mom's basement, SpotOn, just use her address.

From the very article, the statement from AT&T's web site:

Quote:
A street address is required by Federal law to provide a geographic location for each wireless device that can be associated with the state, county, or city for tax purposes. In order to comply with the Mobile Telecommunications Sourcing Act (MTSA) of 2002, AT&T is required to capture and maintain a Place of Primary Use (PPU) address for all of its customers. PPU is defined as a valid street (physical) address within the defined licensed service area for the customer's home market.

IOW, mobile phone, the same requirement. Not Apple's policy, not AT&T's policy. Federal law.
Please don't be insane.

Use the address of the post office where your POB is located ???
From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, "Look at that!" -...

With this economy and record heat coming, that doesn´t sound like a bad idea.

Oh yeah, taxes. I'm sure this has nothing to do with being able to track down the person who is using the iPad for legal reasons.

Just list the address of the local pizzeria. Not like they have the manpower to go out an verify every user lists their own personal address to begin with. ...And that paragraph actually doesn't say you have to use your own address, either.
