Worked by the Kings. Big time. I'm actually surprised they weren't swept.
Marc Cuban, go serve some more Dairy Queen cuz your season is over.

It doesn't mean they aren't very good, the Kings just played better.

The Mavs have absolutely no defense. If they had any theyd be on top of the league (well, at least would if it werent fixed). That basketball doesnt interest me. its guys running up and down missing shots. Put the f*ckin clamps on. The Kings just simply have better defense. Mike Bibby has no conscious.

Laers-Celtics Final...the NBA will just love that...

fixed? hah! Fixed against the lakers (and yet they still pull it off). Lakers can't buy a legit call.

The kings have been a good team for several years now, where the Mavericks are just beginning to get good. If the Mavs could get a real center (shoulds traded for Arvydas Sabonis a couple years ago), they'd be a contender. As it is now, they don't have good enough rebounding or defense to go far. I really like their offense though. And I don't know how you could say that staying with the Kings for the whole series is "not very good." But with a big man, the Mavs are unstopable. Lakers got Shaq, Kings got Divac, and Spurs got Robinson/Duncan.

Staying with the Kings for the whole series? The only reason they "stayed" with the Kings cuz they had to lose 4 games! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />
And therefore, they are not very good. At least compared to the teams that will continue playing.
But I digress, all things come to a loss to the Lakers eventually.

My Mavs have a real center we win that series. Looked like absolute crap today, but the last 2 could've gone either way.

When it came down to it we don't have a real big man.

Ah well, nice work, boys! Kings, please beat the hell out of the Lakers.

what does your post even mean???? All of the games in the series WERE close games and it's hard to play with the Kings for 5 games and when I say "play with" I mean play at their level in case that confused you too.

Obviously they didnt play at the King's level cuz they lost by an average of 9.5 points added up through the entire series. Compounded by the fact that game 1 and 5 were 17 and 13 point blowouts, respectively. Do you consider a 4 possesion loss close? I sure as hell don't.

But whatever, when all is said and done, Kings go on, Mav's go home.

And that's all that really matters, doesn't it?

How fitting that my first post at AI, be about the NBA. I wouldn't say that the "Mav's aren't very good". Look at what that franchise has done in the last 3 years. Yes the Kings beat 'em down, and right now are the better team... second only to the Lakers.

But, mark my words next year the Mavs will be better than the Kings. They just need more time... and a legit big man. Funny that the team with the most 7 footers needs a legit center.

Don't forget that Nick and Raef were late season pick ups. Make no mistake. This team is on the rise and looks to factor in the post season for years to come. Kudos to Mark Cuban!

Can't wait for the NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Kings!
