Does anyone think Apple could revise the iPhone under the guise of a "Pro" model this Fall, or otherwise upgrade the hardware and add new carriers?

If they sold this as a new model (not revised), they could neutralize the perception that they are "fixing" the antenna and avoid angry iPhone 4 buyers...

Nope. Next hardware update in June 2011. Anything sooner would be an admission that they had "lied" to customers, and they'd have a class action lawsuit on their hands.

I'm thinking if they did release a Verizon iPhone in January however, that would give them an excuse to refine the hardware...

Sure, but to what end and for what purpose? CDMA is dead. Deader than GSM because Verizon will have its LTE network up faster than AT&T will have theirs.
