" I've read that study. It is the only study I have seen that gives that point of view. I have seen many others that present the exact opposite one ".

And you were implying that I only hear what I want to hear?

I know I said you could have the last word but, you've had so many.

By the way everybody knows the Clinton scandal played a part in the results of the last election ( which could have easily gone the other way since it was so close ). The minute I heard Clinton admit that he lied on TV I turned to my friend and said " you just watch we're going to have a republican president next time because of this ".

If you ask me you're the one with the " weak " arguments ( or you can substitute non arguments since they didn't directly address the question ). By the way my argument wasn't weak it only just cut the legs out from under your premise about " the criminal liberal media ".

By the way still in check! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Does every country need a monarchy?

If we don't ask questions how can we get answers?
If we don't moan, how can we feel pain?

Moaning is normally a response to pain. You can be in agony and keep it to yourself, with a bit of self-control, and not piss off anyone.

Or you can ask lame, cod-philosophical questions when the arguments escape you, sort of pre-emptive moaning, if you will, and annoy the bejesus out of us all!

Nope

Not at all jealous. There is no country in the world that has it all for everybody. It all depends of what you want in life, andwhat your needs are.
Please, relax - assume a more friendly posture, maybe even a smile. Enemies are the reflection of you own fear.
Terrorism should be fought with maintaining our human dignity, not by becoming like them, using terrorist methods.
If you have nothing to loose then at least there is the chance of dieing as a martyr. So lets give people something to live for instead of something to die for.
Gettin' all tough and rowdy doesn't solve problems, rather it makes the trenches deeper.

Global peace = education for all, human rights for all, security for all. All.

I say again All.

Texas - now there's one fukked up state. Isn't that state known for having the worst education system in the country? That's pretty bad considering education in America, is already at the bottom of the heap, compared to the rest of the G7 countries.

I know what you mean, but it is imperative to clarify too-general "education" as more specific "secondary/elementary education." Still, I don't know for certain that claim is completely valid. What is certain is that higher education in America remains the world's best.

That's okay. I know that 501 is just as important a number as 500. I'll console myself by treating myself to a burger and by tommorrow the barely contained rage should have subsided. I salute your quick fingers and nimble posting skills. Next stop post number 1000.

(Note to self, It WILL be mine, It WILL be mine.)

Does it worry you ?
not me

however a lot of thread veered from the original subject focus : see the one of Scott H, and i would add that i am not worried with this example.
I'm not worried. I think it's rather interesting to see how different peoples replies help change the nature of a thread.
Hmm?
This thread rocks! Can we get this one moved to Fireside Chat, mods?
Ressurected old threads just for the pleasure of making flamewars are not welcome, thus this thread is closed.
