They were more than you know. These things didn't start with Bush and they certainly haven't ended with Bush.
Regime change in Iraq due to non-compliance with U.N. resolutions was the policy of the Clinton Administration.
However let's take a look at Afghanistan too.
Afghanistan was fighting the Soviet Union up until 1989. This fight was made difficult due to the arming and training of militant, Muslim, mujahideen. This training and arming was started under President Jimmy Carter, a Democrat. Operation Cyclone was indeed expanded under Reagan in part due to lobbying for it by Charles Wilson, a Democrat.
Why can someone like yourself ignore Jimmy Carter sending troops into Afghanistan against the Soviets in 1979? It is because you'd rather look at a party than a policy. The policy, Pax Americana has been in place since the end of WWII. Bush was just the lastest iteration of it. We didn't imagine Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Bosnia, etc.
There is a reason President Obama has not deviated one iota from Bush policy. It is because he is following a policy, not a party.
Take off the blinders and start questioning the policy if you want something to change.
