Why can someone like yourself ignore Jimmy Carter sending troops into Afghanistan against the Soviets in 1979? It is because you'd rather look at a party than a policy. The policy, Pax Americana has been in place since the end of WWII. Bush was just the lastest iteration of it. We didn't imagine Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Bosnia, etc.

There is a reason President Obama has not deviated one iota from Bush policy. It is because he is following a policy, not a party.

Take off the blinders and start questioning the policy if you want something to change.

....and it was Jimmy Carter who gave us the 1980 Summer Olympics- Moscow Boycott by the US.....leading to the USSR and Eastern Block 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics Boycott.

S Korea and China defence chiefs to meet amid tension

It's a start. China does a lot of trade with ROK so it is also in their best interest to resolve the issue between NK and ROK.

South Korea predicts North Korea will ramp up attacks in 2011
