A new threat is emerging to Iranian President Ahmedinejad - where the democracy movement has failed or been suppressed it seems that the Conservatives might have greater success in removing him.
Basically it looks like he and his government might have broken several Iranian laws:
I think these things will fly: probably they were known all along - perhaps even with tacit approval - but now it has been decided it is time for him to go or else perhaps someone is hanging him out to dry to save themselves.
Whatever...looks like the end-game for President A. It might take some time though as Ayatollah Khamenei is the one who has the power and he seems to be a big fan.
Although if this movement increases - and the Conservatives are a far more threatening opponent than the students (they can't just be jailed for example) - Khamenei may be threatened himself.
So the question would be: how will any new administration move forward?
I would not be sorry to see Ahmedinejad go....despite the constant lies, disinfo, misquotes and propaganda about him form the West he is hardly a force for good.
