Quick question

If I would have bought $1000 worth of Apple stock when Steve Jobs came back to Apple, how much
would that investment be worth today?

Steve Summers: What, you couldn't tell?
Brock Samson: Not until I had to...[shudders] shave him.
Steve Summers: What are you, shy?...

Just off the top of my head, I think AAPL was trading in the low $20's range at that time.

so 50 shares? ... now at $300 that'd be $15,000.

Where I really need to do some research for accuracy though, is this: AAPL split at some point... 3:1 IIRC. I don't know if that was before or after Steve's return... if after, that'd boost your return to $45,000. Pretty sweet ROI.
From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, "Look at that!" -...

I thought the stock was around $5-$10 at the time & I know that the stock has split a couple time,
just don't know how many & what the ratio of the stock splits were.

I don't recall AAPL ever splitting.

Come back when you get a sense of humor.

A 'sense of humor' would be "Ah, remember when I was young enough not to have experienced an Apple stock split? "

Not "Kids (will never change and their presence is contemptible) ".
