Apple is a hardware company. HARDWARE , HARDWARE, HARDWARE

Get it. It makes huge margins on the hardware it sells

MacOSX and its apps are loss leaders

The software is designed to get you to buy MAc hardware period

So Any company they have their eyes on will be either be to add to their hardware stategy directly or indirectly to bolster their ability to attract more customers to buy their hardware (via software or services)

Imagine Apple buying say AMAZON, SPRINT, SAMSUNG, PANASONIC, ATT or VERIZON

Just imagine! lol

Respectively, zero reason whatsoever, would cost twice the price to rebuild the network to actually work with Apple devices, would be stopped because of monopoly, would be stopped because of monopoly, senseless and unprofitable, senseless and unprofitable.
