Ah, you are recommending surgery for health reasons.

If you were recommending plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons, I would have suggested just drinking another beer, which I have found, can significantly improve a woman's attractiveness without the cost or pain of plastic surgery.

I'll agree with all the beers stated above, with the exception of the Buds and Rollings mentioned, ignore the booby talk, and try to right the ship with:

Samuel Adams Boston Lager. Simply the most consistent, flavorful, and widely available beer in the US. Some people might like other beers better, especially regional ones (I know I do), but I defy anyone to come up with a more consistent and well brewed product available everywhere.

On another note, I crave Sierra Nevada Summerfest, but its availability on the East Coast is very poor. I bought 3 cases of it last year and made it last all summer. AGONY. I have not been able to get my paws on any lately.

A few years ago, when I lived in BOS, I loved Tremont Ale, and the ever so local Bank St. Ales. Commonwealth B.CO's beers, while somewhat inconsistent, were occaisionally stellar. Back Bay B. Co. even more occaisionally produced some interesting things, and once, they made a really hoppy pils that was out of this world. Ah. Real beer. I live in NASCAR country now, so you can imagine what I can get my hands on (note post about Sam Adams).

Of course, I brew my own, too.

Heavy dark ales for all other occasions.

Well, by far the best single beer, maybe even the best single beverage in the world, is McEwan's Scotch Ale. Truly the Nectar of the Gods. It looks like a Coke, but it is soooooo good.
