Can't see iChat

Thread Starter
After clicking on iChat I can see the menu bar change to iChat but the iChat window doesn't appear. Excuse my Windows jargon - just switched over to Mac.

Command+1, 2, or 3 until something appears. Coming from Windows, you likely closed the iChat window, which does absolutely nothing in terms of closing the program. Command+Q or File->Quit closes programs in OS X.

They stay open otherwise (unless the program only has one window, like DigitalColor Meter, System Preferences, and the like).

I have got this problem and solved it with these commands.

Thanks for saying exactly what I just said, spambot.
