MBP 15 and HP LaserJet 1200

I'm switching from a PC to MBP.

I have a HP LaserJet 1200 that's a workhorse and with which I have had no trouble.

Trouble is, it has a parallel port. What are the chances that a connector cable from the parallel port to the MBP USB port will work?

Thanks

A cable is a cable. If the cable does not have broken conductors, then it will work. The cable is not the issue. You need a print driver for your printer.
