Who's giving the Democratic response?
I'd say that we're just about guaranteed that ol' Bush will make some kind of speaking error, mispronouncing something or speaking in awkward phrases.

I'm sorry, we cannot accept that. All answers must be given in the form of a bet. Do an over-under for made up words!

I bet President Bush will say we need to Bomb because he found the Mujahid Usamah Bin Ladin and he is hiding under IRAQ.

- Senator Clinton will be caught on camera in either a mid-yawn or eyeroll: 2 to 1
- There will be way too much applause and standing ovations (after every other sentence, basically): even

That's about it. Both will happen.

i'll take that one, she would never disrespect a president during the state of the union.

Governor Locke is OK but he gives a mediocre speech IMO.
Ya know...I'm placing my bets that he can't even write the damn speech...

In a kooky bit Susan Sarandon is taking her 52 year old breasts on TV in a 30 second paid advert to air just before Bush's state of the Union adress, where she will implore Americans to get the full story on Iraq. Actors and their neurotic female counterparts, actresses, are a truly weird bunch. What's next? Richard Gere and healing music?

Not that I agree with Bush on all things or even most things, though with reservations I tend to agree with him on this thing, I just find this bit of news amusing.

i think he might say something like

"we must continue to fight for freedom around the world
while maintaining our vigilence on preventing it here at home"

oh no, wait....he won't say it, but that's what this administration will continue to do.

That is not a Texas thing, that's an idiot thing. I want to stab him in the forehead every freaking time I hear him say that.

I say "new-clee-urr" and I'm a Texan: born, raised and proud.

Right now the Democrats are weak and cowardly, I'm surprised someone will actually give a "response" and I'll be further shocked if it's anything more than a "we agree with Bush 100%, but we have to act like we don't".

It could be like Daschle these days. All he seems to be able to say is, "<Insert Bush issue here> is the wrong way to go and leads us into <insert bad consequence here> and further <insert bad consequence here>".

No solutions just patrician criticism from the Democrats.

4 more year 4 more year ... then Hillary for president!
