Actually, I believe there's a lot of room for improvement of camcorders and digital cameras, as specific devices, where Apple can play a role. Generally, while the makers of camcorders and DSLR have fantastic technology form the technical side of things, most of their devices have UI's that totally suck when compared to what can be done with smartphones and other mobile devices.
If Apple could team up with a company like Canon or Nikon to make camcorders and DSLR's powered by iOS with touch interface, plus an improved (wireless) integration to iPhoto, that would be an awesome product concept.
